Under the explanation of the interpreter and translator, Mr. Boeri understood the overall situation of Qingtian stone carvings and was very surprised when he saw the colorful and natural stone carvings.

The biggest feature of Qingtian Qishi is that a stone has many colors, even as many as a dozen colors, and the natural colors are very rich. There are many colors such as yellow, white, blue, green, blue, black, gray, etc., but compared with the rich color of Shoushan stone, it emphasizes lightness and elegance. Qingtian stone is warm and moist like jade, with brilliant colors, various types, fine texture, and exquisite texture. It is rare in the world. Since ancient times, it has been known as the "shiyan world".
The famous contemporary seal engraver Han Tianheng wrote in a preface: The top grade Qingtian stone itself is a work of art. No matter the texture is frozen or non-frozen, the stone is pure and innocent. It is “firm and clear” and “soft and smooth”. It is most suitable for receiving knives and expressing the spirituality of the engraver. It is the most preferred and trusted material of first-class engravers in ancient times.

The Fengmenqing rough stone in the picture above was dug from more than 300 kilograms of Fengmen ore, which is the crystallization of the essence of the world for hundreds of millions of years. This original azurite is slightly transparent, moist but not cracked, in all directions, without blemishes, and it is considered a priceless treasure in the world.
▲Tools in the studio
In Master Ni’s simulation studio, Mr. Boeri was very curious about the stone carving tools and took the tools to observe carefully. The tools in the studio are all tools that Master Ni has used. These inconspicuous tools are indispensable for carving out the exquisite works of Master Ni. There are four main tools for Qingtian stone carving, namely, chisels, carving knives, drills, and bars. These tools are easy to make, easy to use, and economical. They have also been carved by masters to create exquisite works.
